A Recipe from Shyanne’s Kitchen: Breakfast Crescent Squares

Posted on February 28, 2019 by Justin Serrano

One of my favorite meals of the day is breakfast! Though it took some time, I mastered this recipe while in high school and I still make this recipe quite often. My favorite part about this recipe is that it freezes really well. I cut the squares, then individually wrap them in press-n-seal. Then I take all of the individually wrapped squares and put them in a freezer bag. Just like that, you have breakfast for approximately one week, depending on your portion size.

At our Monday Night Football LifeGroup, I brought this for breakfast night. It was an instant hit! And as we found out, it is also great with Bethany’s Sausage Gravy. Placing a warm crescent square on your plate smothered in Bethany’s mouthwatering gravy is so good, that it is even pastor approved! (Thanks, Pastor Jason!) Whatever the occasion, this meal is a great treat for cozy Saturday mornings or grabbing a quick, filling meal while running out the door.

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? —Matthew 6:25
