Fine Arts 2023

At Harvest Youth, we love seeing teenagers grow in their gifts and talents! Fine Arts is one of the best avenues we use to encourage that growth. We see teenagers grow in ways that are even surprising to them and love to be a part of that journey with them. This year won’t be an exception. We cannot wait to see how our teenagers use and grow in their talents as we work with, encourage, and equip them to act in the gifting’s God has called them to. Below you will find information about registration, costs, and more!

Registration forms and payments are due Thursday, February 2

Here is the Practice Schedule for Drama, Children’s Lesson, and Category Check-ins. These are opportunities for the teenagers to perform their category, receive feedback, and gives deadlines for progress. While Check-Ins are not mandatory, they are encouraged as we will have coaches available to work with students in their individual categories. They will begin at 6:00 PM. Prior to the check-in a schedule for the rehearsal will be released so your teenager can be present when needed. Teenagers will receive feedback during these check-ins. For art and writing categories, students are not required to be present, but should email their piece to [email protected]. They will receive feedback on their piece the week after the check-in.

Art Submissions
Art pieces will need to be turned in to Pastor Andrew on Wednesday, March 15. Please make sure the proper information is attached to art pieces as required by the Official Fine Arts Rulebook.

Video Submission
All video entries must be submitted no later than Monday, March 6. A public or unlisted YouTube URL must be emailed to [email protected] along with the following participant information: First and Last Name, Church Name, Group Name (if applicable), Phone Number.

All payments will need to be processed via harvestabq.churchcenter.com. I’m going to put it in red because it’s important:

please do not pay via securegive, cash, or check.

Paying via harvestabq.churchcenter.com allows us to easily track who has paid for what, and makes sure you know all the options available to you and your teenagers. If you pay any other way, chance’s are we won’t know that you paid for a while (possibly at all) and you won’t pay for all the options. If you pay by cash or check, all the above applies as well, you may miss something there as well, and, heaven forbid, I may lose the payment!

You can navigate in any browser to harvestabq.churchcenter.com or harvestabq.org/finearts to find the payment link.
