Production – Broadcast

Audio (one per week)
The Broadcast/Online Audio Position requires the operation of a Behringer X32 Digital Mixer and Ableton Live – Digital Audio Workstation. You’ll need to have a good ear for mix and music to succeed as an Audio Tech. This position will require attending band rehearsals, mixing an assortment of instruments and vocals to create a great sounding environment for others to worship in, and balancing communicator’s audio for Broadcast. This position requires some knowledge on decibel levels, gain structure, compression, and EQ. This position will be best served by those with previous experience utilizing mixers and soundboard technology.

Cameras (three per week)
As a camera operator, you’re responsible for using the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K to focus and follow the main action of the stage. Keeping primary subjects in focus, following instruction over comms, zooming, focusing, and following. Zooming and focusing are done like a traditional camera/dslr – from the lens. Some training will be required, but previous experience isn’t necessary. This can be a fast paced position, but it’s a ton of fun!

Video Switcher (one per week)
We use a Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio Pro 4K Live Production Switcher to switch between cameras, media, and ProPresenter. The Video Switcher will be responsible for calling shots to camera operators over comms, switching camera angles at best times, showing lower thirds, and making our online service look the best as is possible. This position will require knowing how to get the best shots out of camera operators and present them effectively. Training will be required, and previous experience would be helpful.

Our Visual positions require the ability to use a computer. That’s pretty much it! Both Online and Front of House Production use Renewed Vision’s ProPresenter 6 to show slides, videos, and lyrics. You’ll be provided with a service schedule, Pastor Jason’s annotated notes for presenting, and everything preloaded for the Sunday service. Online Visual differs from live in that everything is on screen immediately cover the lower third of the display. Attentiveness is required! Some training will be required, but previous experience isn’t necessary.

Production – Front of House
