January 8 – January 28

6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

There’s a principal in the bible based on the “first fruits”; which is the first part of wealth or harvest. Proverbs 3:9 and 10 says, “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.” That if we honor God in this way, we will see blessings. For 2020 and our Harvest Family, we want to set aside the “first fruit” of the year. To indicate to ourselves and God that 2020 is a year set aside for Him to show His kingdom here on Earth through Harvest. So for twenty one days, we will gather, pray, and fast together for God’s Kingdom to be present in our lives, families, and community.

We believe a primary part of starting 2020 right is by fasting. Biblical fasting is giving up specific food and drink for a specified number of days for a specific purpose. Fasting, prayer, and reading God’s Word go hand in hand. When you fast, also pray for God’s purpose and plan for your life to be revealed. Fast and pray about every major decision in your life. Simply put, fasting is a way to conquer the physical and open the door to the supernatural in your life. When you deny your body, you feed your spirit and grow closer to the Lord. A Corporate fast is a joint fast of believers for a specific purpose that can yield powerful results. Although this fast involves others, it is also very much a “private and personal experience between you and God.” Esther called all of her people to fast for protection against danger (Esther 4:16). Samuel declared a fast for national revival (1 Samuel 7).

As we pray and fast, will you pray with us specifically? Below you’ll find a calendar with daily prayer opportunities.
